Linda Bradley cuddles with "Rattie", the famous Ambassador of The Northern California Rat Community, at a Rat Festival in San Mateo, CA, on April 3, 2005. Rattie is sent to children and adults around the world to educate them about pet rats. The Rat festival, called “The Wonderful World of Rats!”, was the first of what will be an annual event organized by the Rattie Ratz organization. It is intended to promote domestic pet rats as companion animals and inform current and potential guardians about the proper care and maintenance of pet rats.
