Marcus Winslow Jr, cousin and closest living relative of late actor James Dean, sits on April 10, 2005, with a painting of him and Dean in front of the house where the two grew up in Fairmount, Indiana. According to Winslow, Dean was 24 and himself 12 years old in the picture from which the painting was made. The house now belongs to Marcus Jr. and is not open to the public.
September 30, 2005 will mark the 50th anniversary of James Dean’s tragic death in 1955.
